Gold futures ease on low demand, slip below Rs 45,300

NEW DELHI: Gold futures on Wednesday fell by 0.58 per cent to Rs 45,284 per 10 gram as participants offloaded their holdings on a low spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold prices for April delivery slipped by Rs 264, or 0.58 per cent, to Rs 45,284 per 10 gram in a business turnover of 13,225 lots.

In the international market, gold was trading 0.15 per cent lower at USD 1,731.00 per ounce in New York.
