Posting this now on more signs of the new cold war. China has cancelled a trip by European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell that was scheduled for next week.

The info came overnight via a spokesperson for the EU. Said there were no reasons given.

Borrell was due to arrive on Monday to meet Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang and other senior officials.
