Gold marginally lower by Rs 24; silver gains Rs 13

New Delhi, Gold prices in the national capital on Tuesday dipped marginally by Rs 24 to Rs 50,686 per 10 grams, according to Securities. In the previous trade, the precious metal settled at Rs 50,710 per 10 grams.

Silver, however, gained Rs 13 to Rs 60,609 per kg from Rs 60,596 per kg in the previous trade.

In the international market, both gold and silver were trading flat at USD 1,837 per ounce and USD 21.66 per ounce, respectively.

“Gold prices traded weak with spot gold prices at COMEX trading at USD 1,837 per ounce on Tuesday. Gold prices have kept a steady in trading range on mixed global cues over US Federal Reserve rate hike and dollar movement,” said Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities) at HDFC Securities.
