A tilt towards the defensive side

There’s not much of a catalyst but just be wary that flows can be tricky to decipher as we approach the end of the month and quarter. European indices put up a modest showing yesterday so this does eat into some of those gains.

Elsewhere, US futures are also tracking a little lower with S&P 500 futures down 0.1% and Dow futures marked down by 0.2% currently.
