  • Prior -1.7%; revised to -1.0%

Slight delay in the release by the source. The statistic basically measures the total value of services purchased by Japanese businesses over the month.

A minor improvement in February but it comes after the drop in activity seen in January, which was largely impacted by state of emergency measures at the time. A bit of a lagging indicator in terms of economic releases as the market remains more forward-looking.
