Nickel futures slide on tepid demand

News

New Delhi: Nickel prices fell 0.32 per cent to Rs 1,169.10 per kg in futures trade on Thursday as participants offloaded their positions amid weak demand in spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel contracts for November delivery traded lower by Rs 3.70, or 0.32 per cent, at Rs 1,169.10 per kg with a business turnover of 1,051 lots.
Analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to the fall in nickel futures prices.
