MCX hit by technical glitch, trading to begin from 10 am

News

The MCX trading session will commence at 10 am on Tuesday instead of the regular time of 9 am due to technical issues, as announced by the company on their website.

“The End-of-day processes for yesterday’s trade date have been delayed due to some technical issues and hence the special session will start at 09:45 am and the market will start at 10:00 am today,” said MCX in its statement.

The last time MCX experienced such an issue was earlier this year in February, when a glitch forced a four-hour shutdown of its operations. The delay in commencing trading activities was attributed as one of the cases in its transition process

MCX shares are listed on both BSE and NSE, offering trading opportunities. The stock has delivered multibagger returns of 146.4% over the past year and has gained 24.25% in the current calendar year, according to BSE analytics.

As of 9:20 am today, MCX shares were trading flat at Rs 3,934 on BSE.
