Dutch officials are planning new controls on exports of chipmaking equipment to China

Bloomberg (gated) carry the report saying the Biden administration is in negotiations with the Netherlands re controlling exports of chipmaking equipment to China.

The new export limits could bar the sale of equipment capable of
making chips designated as 14 nanometers or more advanced.

Agreement on the Dutch curbs could come as
soon as January, though negotiations are ongoing.
